

The annual Pi Boulé scholarship was presented to North Little Rock High School student, Dewayne Johnson, Jr., Saturday, Dec. 7 during the Annual Pi Boulé Gala at the Venue at Westwind in North Little Rock. Participating in the ceremony from left to right were: Archon Earnest Brown, Jr., Sire Archon Elect Jeremy Owoh, Pi Boule Scholarship recipient Dwayne Johnson, Jr., his mother, Latasha Johnson, his father, Dwayne Johnson, Sr., and Sire Archon Eric Walker.
Pi Boule Foundation $1,000 scholarship

The Pi Boulé Foundation has created a foundation that underwrites and awards an annual $1,000 scholarship to an African American male high school graduate.

Criteria for applicants:
- African American male
- Has at least a 3.0 grade point average in high school or college
- Has been accepted for admission to, or attending an accredited four-year college or university
- Is engaged in community service and extracurricular activities
- Demonstrates leadership and positive character traits
Requirements:
- Complete the application signed by the student and parent or guardian if the student is not 18 or over
- Provide an official high school or college transcript
- Agree to attend the annual Pi Boulé gala event
- Provide two letters of recommendation from a schoolteacher or counselor
- Professional photograph in jpeg format
- Be enrolled or accepted as a full-time student in a 4-year accredited college or university
